After School Program Coordinator
Kristi grew up in Grand Forks, ND where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education. She has worked as an educator for children ages birth – 9 years old in both regular education and special education settings over the past 19 years and has specialized training in both brain development in children and autism.
While living in England, UK for seven years, she worked as an Educator for DoDDS and as an Early Childhood Specialist through the hospital, training parents of children with special needs. This position allowed her the opportunity to be the liasonbetween the hospital and the Child Development Centers where she was responsible for designing and implementing staff development workshops for the employees of the CDC’s. She also served as the lead instructor at Central Texas College fortheir Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, and Early Childhood Administration programs.
